This Paraíso 2 Cultivar is one we have been studying over the last few years---and Sérgio Mereilles and his daughter Raquel have perfected the growing and processing of this nanolot. Launched in 2020 by EPAMIG in Minas Gerais, this new cultivar is one of Alex’s favorites for its cup quality and strong resistance to the rust disease. With a light fermentation, this coffee is One for the Ages!
We get notes of Dark and Malted Chocolate, Jaca Fruit, Sweet Tobacco and a slight Cayenne finish.
